arts to ensure citizens have access to and

At present, our web site is still under construction. We are making an effort to engage our visual and electronic artists, poets, photographers, architects, writers, craftspeople, and performers and to have them tell us what it is that they would like to have you see, or understand. All links aren't up yet and if you feel something should work that doesn't, let us know and we'll see if we can fix it.

In brief, you should know the following about us: the Benson City Council established the Benson Arts Commission by ordinance in February of 2007. We strive for a Commission of seven members and many auxiliary members. We have been working to lay down by-laws and to get to a point where we can position the Arts Commission to bring our mission to fruition. The City has funded us and we are working to establish an annual budget. We have the support of the Arizona Commission on the Arts, and we're looking forward to your support as well.
